Blurred photographs using flash in `preset' mode

Since the camera defaults to 1/60 for a shutter speed {when the flash is set to `preset' mode}, you really don't have much in the way of action-stopping ability. The flash itself will freeze subject motion, but the 1/60 shutter speed leaves the door open for `ghosting' effects {if the subject is moving}.
