Video out during record mode

The Video out works fully in record mode except one thing : the output signal is locked to NTSC format when using record mode (in playback mode you can choose PAL or NTSC)...you can even use the stop motion mode of the FZ10.

You see the moving image, exactly the same as the EVF or the LCD screen : you can see the manual focus helper, you see the AF brackets, the histogram or the grid if you want or any information that can be displayed on the FZ10 screens.
However, video out only works during record mode when the locality (initial settings) is set to USA. Cameras purchased in Japan, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Poland and probably plenty of other places are likely to have their settings set to another place (like Japan, or EU).

My own camera was purchased in Japan, and the above feature did not work. However, see Section [*] (Initial settings) for information on how to fix the problem!
